Marsh Marigold

Location: Gifford Pinchot State Park, PA

Marsh marigolds can be found in damp, moist places and in meadows. Also called Cowslip, the marsh marigold is in the buttercup family. A leaf tea was mixed with maple syrup by early American settlers and used as a cough syrup.
